COLD PRESS, A GROUP EXHIBITION, OPENS AT THE PAGE BOND GALLERY DECEMBER 11, 2009

The Page Bond Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of prints by national and international artists including Polly Apfelbaum, John Baldessari, Ross Bleckner, Mel Bochner, Caio Fonseca, Helen Frankenthaler, Lucian Freud, Mary Heilmann, Ellsworth Kelly, Patsy Krebs, Martin Puryear, Ed Ruscha, Richard Serra, Julião Sarmento, Joel Shapiro, Amy Sillman, Donald Sultan, Terry Winters, and Peter Wüthrich. In addition, recent work by gallery artist will be on display, including William Berry, Katherine Kadish, Ann Lyne, Kristi Hager, Kris Iden, Kathleen Markowitz, Holly Morrison, Ruby Palmer, Curtis Ripley, Alyssa Salomon, Tanja Softic˙, Duston Spear, Peri Schwartz, Robert Strini, Soonae Tark, Randy Toy.

Cold Press opens at the Page Bond gallery, 1625 West Main Street, with an opening reception honoring the artists, Friday, December 11, 2009 from 7 to 9 PM. The exhibition extends from Wednesday, December 9 through Saturday, January 30, 2010.

Comic Prints by Robert Crumb, an artist and illustrator known for his satirical view of the American mainstream, will remain on view through Saturday, January 30, 2010.

Cold Press reflects the creative and continuous expression of artists represented by the Page Bond Gallery as well as other gallery favorites. During the season of giving this group exhibition highlights the importance of art, with an emphasis on works on paper, and the creativity of the human spirit.
